Playing catch-up!!!!!

For some reason this year our family has been quite the target for the sick bugs!!! We had the flu for a total of 3 weeks, had a week of health and then just got hit with a bad cold that had us in bed for 5 days!!!
The nice thing about this one was we all got sick at the same time, I know your probaly thinking "Lady your crazy, thinking it was nice!!" The thing I liked about it was we got to be together! We couldn't go anywhere, the kids were off of school for 3 days, it was nice catch-up time. I didn't have to race someone to a class or worry about play dates. I got to watch my kids fave movies have lots snuggle time and lots of talking time!! It amazes that sometimes big things have to happen for us to cherish the simple everyday things. I'm now trying to work on having more time with the kids instead of always running around. The kids are just finish-up some extra classes and we have put them in nothing for the summer, well just baseball, but trust that is slowing down!!!
I am looking forward to movie days, splash park trips, days at the park and lots of talking time with my fast growing kiddies!!!!



We were playing a game at the dinner table tonight. The boys were asking us questions and we would try to answer them right and earn points. Kyle and I were asked what is the fastest thing in the world??? Kyle said Cory cause when The girl talks it's like she is saying two sentences in like one second and no one can understand a word she says!!!
I love and enjoy everyone of these fun and special moments!!! I was grateful for my catch-up time!!!
